PH 4001D
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
PH 4001D is a very high coat weight permanent polyester tape which has a siliconized paper liner that uses an aggressive rubber based hot melt adhesive. Suitable for bonding applications on difficult surfaces and widely used in the closure of corrugated postal packs.
PRODUCT CONSTRUCTION
Liner: 90g siliconized paper liner
Carrier: 17g polyester
Adhesive: synthetic rubber based with 35gsm on the open and 160gsm on the closed side
Total thickness: 280 micron
PERFORMANCE PROPERTIES
Peel adhesion to steel (24-hour dwell) protected 2600 N/M open 1600 N/M
Shear adhesion to steel: protected 100 hours open 100 hours
Service temperature range: 0°C to 70°C
Recommended application temperature: 10°C to 50°C
Shelf life: Recommended 12 months from supply

Permanent sealing of difficult surfaces, box closure

PH 4001D Is available in finger-lift sizes and also in pancake rolls or spools
