PRODUCT OVERVIEW
PH 4121 is a permanent polyester tape and a siliconized paper liner that uses an extremely aggressive rubber based hot melt adhesive and a polyester carrier
PRODUCT CONSTRUCTION
Liner: 65g siliconized paper liner
Carrier: 17g polyester
Adhesive: synthetic rubber based with 50gsm on the open and 50gsm on the closed side
Total thickness: 167micron
PERFORMANCE PROPERTIES
Peel adhesion to steel (24-hour dwell) protected 1200 N/M open 1200 N/M
Shear adhesion to steel: protected 25 hours open 25 hours
Service temperature range: -20°C to 65°C
Recommended application temperature: 5°C to 50°C
Shelf life: Recommended 12 months from supply

Permanent sealing of difficult surfaces
FOOD CONTACT INFORMATION
Based on supplier information the components of the adhesive conform to the compositional requirements of F&DA 175.105 for indirect food contact. Additional to this compliance there should also be a functional barrier between adhesive and the food. Such functional barrier and determination of suitability are the responsibility of the customer.
