PH 4151
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
PH 4151 is a modified acrylic tape which has a polyester carrier on a siliconised release liner. Widely used in bonding applications and has good resistance to UV light and temperature variations.
PRODUCT CONSTRUCTION
Liner: 65g siliconized paper liner
Carrier: 17g polyester
Adhesive: 25gsm of modified acrylic on both open and closed sides.
Total thickness: 110 micron
PERFORMANCE PROPERTIES
Peel adhesion to steel (24-hour dwell) protected 700 N/M open 700 N/M
Shear adhesion to steel: protected 40 hours open 40 hours
Service temperature range: -25°C to 120°C
Recommended application temperature: 5°C to 50°C
Shelf life: Recommended 12 months from supply
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
General bonding applications.
APPROVAL FOR INDIRECT FOOD CONTACT
PH 4151 is suitable and approved with F&DA 175.105 reference for indirect food contact.
AVAILABILITY
PH 4151 Is available in finger-lift sizes and flush edge rolls.
