PRODUCT OVERVIEW
A perm/peel polyester tape that on the open side has a permanent hot melt and the closed sided a removable acrylic adhesive
PRODUCT CONSTRUCTION
Liner: 65g siliconized release paper
Carrier: 17g polyester
Adhesive: synthetic rubber based with 30gsm on the open side and 14gsm acrylic on the closed side
Total thickness: 110 micron
PERFORMANCE PROPERTIES
Peel adhesion to steel (24-hour dwell) protected 200 N/M open 1200 N/M
Shear adhesion to steel: protected 2 hours open 100 hour
Service temperature range: -0°C to 70°C
Recommended application temperature: 10°C to 50°C
Shelf life: Recommended 12 months from supply
FOOD CONTACT INFORMATION
Based on supplier information the components of the adhesive conform to the compositional requirements of F&DA 175.105 for indirect food contact. Additional to this compliance there should also be a functional barrier between adhesive and the food. Such functional barrier and determination of suitability are the responsibility of the customer.
