PH 4223
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
PH 4223 is a permanent polyester tape on a heat cuttable filmic liner using a high performance permanent rubber adhesive and a higher coat weight on the protected side for higher performance. PH 4223 can be manufactured in red, blue or clear film and is produced in finger-lift for easily removal.
PRODUCT CONSTRUCTION
Liner: 50g filmic liner
Carrier: 17g polyester
Adhesive: synthetic rubber based with 40gsm on the open and 70gsm on the closed side
Total thickness: 170micron
PERFORMANCE PROPERTIES
Peel adhesion to steel (24-hour dwell) protected 1400 N/M open 1200 N/M
Shear adhesion to steel: protected 25 hours open 25 hours
Service temperature range: -20°C to 65°C
Recommended application temperature: 5°C to 50°C
Shelf life: Recommended 12 months from supply
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Sealing of polyethylene and polypropylene bags
AVAILABILITY
PH 4223 Is available in all finger-lift sizes and also in pancake rolls or spools
